Ben advises clearing and investment banks, listed and unlisted borrowers, private equity firms, high net worth individuals and family trust investment vehicles on a range of financing structures and transactions.
He focuses on acquisition finance, asset finance, debt capital markets issues and structured real estate financings. Ben has experience across a number of jurisdictions, having worked as a finance lawyer in Asia, Australia, Europe and the UK.
Ben has particular expertise in:
- multi-financier structures (including club, linked bilateral and syndicated facilities)
- inventory and receivables finance
- leasing and RV structures
- mezzanine finance and preferred equity positions (including related intercreditor arrangements)
- debt restructurings and workouts.
